In the past I was much in to HIFI and the art of tweaking the best
possible sound out of my gear, vibration was one of the sound quality
degrading factors I looked at.
So what has this to do with scanners?
Well if you put your hand on the scanner wile it is operating, you can
clearly feel the vibrations it created by it self.
Those vibrations might influence the scanner the same way as
handshaked camera degrade the sharpness of your photos!
Lets se if there is some substance in my mumbo jumbo :0)
